Annual San Antonio Trauma Symposium
The symposium focuses on the multi-discipline nature of trauma care and the components of trauma systems. Presentations are drawn upon a broad base of trauma care (civilian and combat) to include clinical and basic science, management guidelines and outcomes. Specialty sessions include Trauma Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Pre-Hospital Care, Trauma Nursing, Burn Surgery, Neurosurgery, Pediatric, Craniofacial, Anesthesia, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Critical Care, Trauma Hematology.

Continuing Nursing Education: South Texas Regional Advisory Council is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This activity meets Type I criteria for mandatory continuing education requirements toward relicensure as established by the Texas Board of Nursing. This activity provides up to 21.0 contact hours.
